Automating Azure Data Factory pipeline deployment using Azure DevOps

In this recipe, we'll create an Azure DevOps pipeline to automatically deploy the data factory pipeline to the test and production environments. The Azure DevOps pipeline consists of a series of tasks to automate the manual deployment steps we performed in the previous recipe. Getting ready

To get started, you will need to do the following:

  1. Open the Azure portal at https://portal.azure.com and log in to your Azure account.
  2. Log in to https://devops.azure.com.

How to do it…

Let's get started by creating variable groups in Azure DevOps. Variable groups define the variable name and values for the test and production environment. We'll use the variable group to pass the variables values to pipeline task in later steps:
