SASE Effective
An effective policy is a policy that meets the needs of the organization at the time it is implemented. Unlike a political or fiscal policy, SASE Policy must not trust – however, it must be fluid, dynamic, provide quality, and change as often as needed to continually be effective.
SASE Policy must take a layered approach that is prioritized from most critical to least critical. It must leverage a least prescriptive, open model that allows resilience in the architecture while it’s being used. Conditions change, so the policy must adapt to allow for unplanned conditions.
To design an effective SASE policy, the basic layered approach to security must be used, starting with a closed ZTF-based solution and opening it when all the requirements have been met for secure communications.
In conclusion, an effective SASE policy allows secure communications services to be implemented if the security requirements are continually met.
