Configuring Citrix XenApp® 7.6


In this section, we are going to configure the XenApp site on the newly-installed Delivery Controller. However, before we proceed with the setup, we need to ensure we have the required hypervisor information, a service account with sufficient privileges on the hypervisor to establish a host connection from the Delivery Controller to the host, and the correct certificate if SSL is a requirement. Let's make sure we cover these prerequisites before we move forward with the XenApp configuration.

Hypervisor support

In step 5 of the Configuring Citrix XenApp® 7.6 section, you will need to establish a connection from the XenApp Delivery Controller to your hypervisor or hypervisor console, depending on the backend host solution in use. If using XenServer, this will either be a standalone host or the pool master if multiple hosts are combined in a pool.
