Summary

In this chapter, we discussed deployments and many of the reasons as to why deployments sometimes fail. We created a deployment monitor microservice that is designed to monitor the length of our deployments. We talked about how and why an alert will be triggered if the deployment time exceeds a certain threshold. We also showed several ways in which you could customize this microservice to better fit the needs of you and your organization.
