With this chapter, we end reading on REST that we started in the Chapter 6, Creating REST Services. Now we have a complete vision of these services, and we are able to understand what type of service needs our business logic to be exposed. Never were the REST services so complete as they are now, thanks to the asynchronous services. Performances and wait time improve, and the HTTP services are getting closer and closer to real time. In the next chapter, we will continue with the asynchronous components resuming the speech on EJB started in Chapter 4, Implementing Business Logic.

He brings projects such as Wildfly, Alfresco ECM, Activiti, JGroups, Arquillian, Exo Portal, Solr, Infinispan, JBoss Portal ,Gatein, Jira, and Confluence, and manages Vige, an open source community specializing in open government and smart cities. He is one of the authors of the Gatein Cookbook, showing Gatein's portal and how to develop portlets with it, published in 2012 by Packt.
