Summary
In this chapter, I walked you through the demo company we are building business-wide dashboards for – Adventure Works Cycle Limited. Together, we examined the company’s line of business and its database tables. We identified the different business units within the company and what types of data the database tables hold.
Lastly, we created data models for the HR dashboard, sales dashboard, and supply chain dashboard. This gave us a chance to put to use the learning we covered on Power Query.
In the next chapter, we will build on our data models and take one of the two giant steps left to servicing the management of Adventure Works with the management decision-driving dashboard they need.
