DIY or have it done for you

We’ve seen, in terms of costs, the different options that are available to us for hosting our application. However, this isn’t the only distinguishing factor to consider while determining and implementing a solution. They also differ in terms of philosophy and usage. For now, we’ll stick to one option that is bundled, packaged, and ready to be used. By bundled solution, I’m referring to a solution that gives you a server that is installed, configured, and ready to use. For simplicity, I picked DigitalOcean and deployed our small application, but rest assured that the other bundled options will be very similar in implementation. As this incurs a cost, I won’t add the steps to follow along, so you just can sit back and enjoy the ride. You can typically select an optimized server image from a marketplace.
