At the end of this chapter, we are better equipped to build custom integration scenarios interacting with various enterprise components. We discovered the Fuse modular architecture and core components, and set up, alternately, a Fuse standalone and a Fabric8 cluster, on top of which we deployed various OSGi bundles, including a datagrid cache loader, a virtual database web service proxy, and a file processor. We customized Maven POM files to automatically generate Fabric8 profiles. After successfully building profiles in the maven repositories, we saw how to import profiles in a Fuse cluster, and attached profiles to containers in order to deploy and start bundles.
