Selecting from the many approaches
If you talk to a group of NetSuite partners and consultants, you will find that they each advertise their own somewhat unique methodology for getting clients up and running on NetSuite. They will each assure you that their approach is the one you need and that it nearly guarantees success, but please take claims like this with a grain of salt. That is, most of these companies are not reinventing the wheel and they are, in fact, following one of the two main methodologies in vogue here in the 21st century.
The waterfall method is a one-pass system for going from requirements gathering to design to building and testing and delivery, as shown in the preceding section.
