Are you ready to get started with the Test Studio environment? Great! Before we begin, we need to set up a Power Platform working environment.

Fortunately, we have two options to choose from: the Power Apps Developer Plan or the Power Apps Trial Plan.

Note

The Power Apps Developer Plan is the most convenient option as it’s a free development environment that gives you access to all the full-featured Power Apps and Power Automate development tools, as well as the Dataverse data platform. All you need is a work or school email address to sign up for the Developer Plan.

Signing up for the Power Apps Developer Plan

The Power Apps Developer Plan offers a free development environment for creating and testing Power Apps and other Power Platform components. To sign up, follow these steps:
