Challenges in scaling MySQL 8

We have seen how scaling works and the advantages and purpose of scaling in the previous topic. When we start working with scaling in MySQL 8, what type of challenges will we face, and what steps need to be kept in mind while we work towards scaling? We have to account for if we are doing scaling and the master server fails, limits are reached, read and write operations are not able to handle the requests of the application, or while re-platforming the database.
