AI Builder models
Before learning about AI Builder’s models, let’s answer the question, What is AI Builder? AI Builder is not a product in Power Platform that can be used alone like the ones we’ve been learning about so far. Instead, it is a product that adds AI capabilities to other Power Platform products such as Power Automate or Power Apps to help us add AI into everyday business processes in a low-code manner. It makes AI technology accessible and functional for users across various skill levels, particularly those who may not have expertise in not just coding but data science or AI.
The strongest benefit we get from using AI Builder is the ability to close the gap between complex AI algorithms and practical business applications. It integrates with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, allowing users to add AI capabilities directly into their custom applications, workflows, and data analytics processes (see Figure 9.1):
