Summary

In this chapter, we unraveled the customization powers of Project. Projects operate under a spectrum of varying risk. Some rare and fortunate projects may be bankrolled by rich corporations with unlimited budgets. Such projects are examples of greater flexibility in the risks they can undertake to ensure greater success. Other projects may be rigid and inflexible due to harsh conditions of Mother Nature or the marketplace. In all situations, your schedule should be as realistic as possible.

There is even further to go on this journey of customizing the interplay of tasks in a schedule. We will encounter manipulating dates in even more advanced situations in further chapters of this book. Once again, we will look at the aspects of exact scheduling science and the art of choosing certain levels of abstraction.
