Using the enhanced formula bar

The formula bar is where you can express all functions and actions from your controls to interact within your app, and hence, it is one of the most widely used features within Power Apps Studio.

Since its launch, a lot of improvements have been delivered, but the most expressive one was the enhanced formula bar.

Important Note

This was initially delivered as an experimental change, before moving to preview, and now it is part of the standard formula bar, so if you are starting to work with the formula bar now, it might not work with the previous version.

Some of the key differences regarding the previous formula bar will be detailed in the following sections.
