To get the most out of this book

You will need an AWS account to follow along. If you don’t yet have an AWS account, you can create one following these instructions: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/accounts/latest/reference/manage-acct-creating.html.

You will also need the following software installed on your local machine.

Although the examples were tested in these versions, they should work in any newer version, too.

If you are using the digital version of this book, we advise you to type the code yourself or access the code from the book’s GitHub repository (a link is available in each section). Doing so will help you avoid any potential errors related to the copying and pasting of code.
