Marketing Cloud Engagement capabilities

Understanding the capabilities of Marketing Cloud Engagement, especially as they relate to a B2C solution, requires taking a step back and evaluating it more holistically than the product-by-product review done in the previous section. Fortunately, the capabilities required by most direct-to-consumer sellers in the retail or consumer goods space are available with a Marketing Cloud Engagement Corporate or Enterprise edition license, which we’ll assume as the baseline for this discussion.

Data Cloud is also worth evaluating, at an additional cost, if robust audience segmentation and a 360 view of the customer are required in the marketing space. Other products should be evaluated on an as-needed basis.
