What now?

We are moving forwards. Alerts are an important step towards a self-healing system. However, at this moment, we can only see them. They are not firing any events. Prometheus is aware of the conditions that should create an alert but is unaware what to do with them. We'll fix that in the next chapter.

Take another break. Remove the machines we created, do something fun, and come back fresh. A brain needs a rest every once in a while:
