Integrating systems
It is very unusual to find Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement implementations that do not require integration with other systems. As for other requirements, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement allows us to propose solutions with a no-code, low-code, or pro-code approach. In this section, we will analyze the most important considerations to take into account when evaluating possible solutions for a system integration requirement, and the most relevant characteristics of the most used no-code/low-code approaches to integrate systems.
Systems integration considerations
When presented with a requirement to integrate Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement with another system, we have to analyze in detail not only the purpose of the integration (whether to synchronize data, simply visualize it, or execute actions in another system), but also aspects of how, when, and what to integrate:
