Problem

How to provide network-level protection for resources.

Context

Protecting your resources at the network level is imperative for protecting cloud-based workloads. To provide comprehensive network protection, you might need to place purpose-built firewalls or multifunction appliances at appropriate locations based on the network design and deployment of your workload. The devices may vary based on the network layer that needs to be protected. At the cloud service or application layer, workloads are also subjected to Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks. There is a need to allow only good traffic to the multi-cloud resources and block bad traffic from reaching the servers.
