Introduction

Consider a scenario where you are the machine learning lead in a marketing analytics firm. Your firm has taken over a project from Amazon to predict whether or not a user will buy a product during festive season sale campaigns. You have been provided with anonymized data about customer activity on the Amazon website – the number of products purchased, their prices, categories of the products, and more.
