A world of styles
Adding styles to Midjourney prompts is a great way to improve the results of your image creations and expand the range of possibilities. When you specify a style, Midjourney will try to generate an image that is consistent with that style. This can be helpful if you are trying to create a specific type of image, such as a landscape in the style of impressionism or a portrait in the style of Renaissance art.
There are two main ways to use styles in Midjourney prompts:
- Using the “in the style of” phrase: This is the most straightforward way to specify a style. Simply type
in the style of
followed by the style you want, for example, in the style of impressionism or in the style of Renaissance portraits. - Using keywords: Midjourney also understands keywords. For example, if you want to create an image in the style of expressionism, you could use keywords such as bold colors, distorted forms, or emotional intensity.
