Summary

We have seen how we can use SNS as a powerful tool for message distribution in our AWS environment. The service is essentially very easy to use and there are numerous use cases that could utilize SNS. It is especially valuable when we require a serverless component that can react to an event or an incoming message and distribute that message to multiple entities, either for processing or as a notification service. In the next chapter, we will get started with Simple Workflow Service.
