Preparing to enter the job market

Believe it or not, you started preparing for a role when you wrote your first line of code. Coding is one of the highly sought-after skills for a software engineering role, and engineers of all levels need to write code to maintain their skills. If you’re entering the industry, you will need to spend a bit more time building up your skills in preparation for a role. As mentioned previously, reading this book alone will not be enough preparation for a job as a software engineer.
