Other models besides Gemini

Google exposes more models than only Gemini. Each foundational model is versioned, and users have full control over which version they apply. Choosing the right version of a model is important, as the model output may differ between versions. For example, Embeddings for Text may not be backward compatible with earlier versions of the model. When you switch from one version to another, always test the quality of your solution since you might need to adjust your prompts and hyperparameters (see more details in Table 1).
