Description of Qlik APIs

The high number of 19 available APIs sounds scary, but the number is also a bit of an overstatement. They are all interconnected to some degree and can be considered subcategories of APIs. As a matter of fact, 10 of them are summarized under the so-called Capability API, which forms one of the core Qlik API libraries.

The following are the core Qlik APIs:

  • Engine API
  • Extension API
  • Backend API
  • Capability API (includes 10 subcategories of APIs)
