Automated testing for Svelte apps

Apps are rarely "done," and they instead continue to evolve over time to respond to the needs of your users. One of the best ways to allow fast iterations while ensuring that your apps remain stable and with few bugs is to implement DevOps practices.

What is DevOps?

There are many definitions of what DevOps is, but one of my favorites is: "DevOps is the union of people, process and technology to enable continuous delivery of value to our end users."

Embracing DevOps means adopting a culture and a set of processes to enable the development and operations teams to work together to deliver more value to users quicker. This includes adopting agile development practices, quick iterations based on feedback, open collaboration, and so on. Technology offers tools that can aid the adoption of DevOps, and we'll see some of them in this chapter and the following.
