Using icons, text, and basic shapes in logos

If you want to use a logo that has a unique look to it, then have a look at creating a simple logo using free fonts and lines in Canva. This may sound slightly boring, but they can look very effective, and as we’ve mentioned, keeping your logo simple will help it to be more recognizable when small.

Here’s a selection of logos that have used lines, basic shapes, and free fonts:

Each one of these logos uses a free font and a basic shape to help create the look of the logo, so a simple logo can be created in Canva that looks professional.

To create your own, you need to decide on the style of the logo first. Is it a round logo, letters only, square, or oblong?
