Rotating and skewing rectangle frames
In this recipe, we will learn how to adjust your frames by both skewing and rotating them. We will be looking at rotating frames manually, using preset rotations, and rotating by precise amounts. We will also be looking at changing the reference point for the rotation using preset reference points, as well as setting completely custom reference points for rotation.
We are going to be working with rectangle frames, where the results of rotation tend to be more visibly obvious when compared to rotating a circle, for example. However, these techniques can all be applied to ellipse and polygon frames as well.
Getting ready
In order to complete this recipe, simply open InDesign on your system and create a new document with 12 pages, as shown in the Creating a new document recipe in Chapter 1.
