Giving other users access to your QuickBooks data
The ability to give other users access to your data is one of the many benefits of using QBO. Except for QBO Advanced, which includes three accountant users, the other QBO subscriptions include access for two accountant users and access for one or more additional users. There are two main groups that users fall into: billable roles and non-billable roles.
Billable roles count towards your user limit. For example, QBO Plus is limited to 5 users. Billable roles count toward this limit. There are eight billable roles that you can create in QBO:
- Standard all access
- Standard no access
- Accounts receivable manager
- Accounts payable manager
- Standard limited customers and vendors
- In house accountant
- Company administrator
- Primary administrator
