Why use apps with Xero?
As we explained in the previous chapter, using the trial balance app saved a ton of time when exporting and performing data entry in Xero. That is what we want to do. We want to have the tools we use to communicate with each other and perform mundane mindless tasks such as data entry. Data entry is so mindless it is frequently riddled with errors. Using an app to perform data entry will ensure our data is consistent across the platform. In addition, using an app such as A2X Accounting to record our e-commerce transactions removes the manual tasks from our team and posts the details to Xero in a consistent, timely manner.
