Summary
In this chapter, we covered org-wide app settings and the configuration of app permission policies that specify the apps a user should be able to install for themselves. We also reviewed app setup policies, which allow us to customize the UX by pre-installing and pinning certain apps in a particular order for assigned users.
We then pivoted a bit to focus on the process of using apps as standalone apps within Teams, or connectors, tabs, and messaging extensions throughout Teams chats and channels. You learned that the app store can be branded, and you (and permitted users) can contribute to the app store by creating and uploading custom apps.
Using the information in this chapter, you'll be better equipped for app-related questions on the MS-700 exam as well as being able to effectively manage app experiences for individuals and teams across your organization.
