Leveraging the five W’s is always a wonderful place to start with any learning model. The five W’s for those who are unfamiliar are Who, What, Why, Where, and When. We often unofficially add a qualifier of How or How much to the mix, but it does not start with W and, therefore, is left out sometimes. In this section, we talk about when. The correct answer is always! The timeline is within six weeks of every relevant software release.
Over time, as your new learning model becomes more familiar to you, it can be applied to any area of your life or organization. Initially, leverage the model when attempting to use an innovative technology that is either undocumented, under-documented, or has inadequate training available. This model is to create a way of learning something without the necessary training program available for success.
