Dealing with aftershocks
Japan suffers from earthquakes and exists on active tectonic plates. The island’s long narrow shape amplifies the impact of earthquakes. It is also surrounded by shallow seas that enable the tsunamis produced by earthquakes to generate destructive power.
A story that came 12 months after these first 90 days illustrates the aftershocks that occur and are akin to the earthquake analogy.
