Planning for training
Planning for training involves various team project team members coordinating multiple activities independently and bringing them all together before we deliver our training sessions.
We need to put together a training plan that encompasses, at a minimum, the following aspects:
- Be cognizant of our end users – who they are, where they are located, what their job function is, and how we will deliver the training.
- Identify your super users who can act as our trainers and trusted partners. It is like training the trainers, and they will be the main point of contact for their business unit and the go-to person for the users.
- Understand the scope of training – what functions and processes need to be included in the training?
- Choose the training medium – how do we plan to do the training and what methods do we adopt?
- Plan the training schedule – the dates, the duration, and the number of sessions based on user groups...
