Case study – creating a dirty old pavement
By now, you might have become familiar with toolbars and panels inside Sampler. It is now time to work on a practical exercise to better understand it. We will first create a dirty old pavement using existing assets and imported assets, so without further ado, let us get started:
- Go to VIEWER SETTINGS, choose Plane under Mesh, and Mondarrain 3 under Environment.

- Make sure both 3D and 2D views are active.
- Now, we need a base material on the plane; therefore, choose Asphalt and drag and drop it on the Plane mesh in the 3D view.

- Select Asphalt from the LAYERS panel, and then change its color to Maroon (
