With more and more companies looking to move to the cloud in recent years, it seems that consolidation is a new priority. This is usually the largest area of need and has always been the architecture for supporting reporting and applications. The database resources that support those areas of our businesses are large and, if compromised, can put a company at risk. The security of our data is everything and we must keep that in mind as we clean up and figure out where our data should be located.
