Chapter 7: Creating and Managing Teams

This chapter will demonstrate how teams can be created in Microsoft Teams, both from scratch and from an existing Microsoft 365 group. You will also learn how to apply privacy settings to your teams so that not everyone is able to view and join them. In addition, we will demonstrate how creating an organization-wide (org-wide) team is a useful method to communicate with all employees in your organization.

In the latter part of this chapter, we'll explore membership management through Teams and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). You will learn that users may be added to a team in a member or owner role and will see how this affects the actions they can perform in relation to the team. We will also demonstrate how users may be automatically added to teams using Azure AD dynamic group membership settings.
