Working with AI Builder
AI Builder is a solution within Power Platform that allows us to incorporate AI models without the need to develop or create complex algorithms. It offers different AI models that can be used by anyone. AI Builder uses Azure services, simplifying its implementation so that any user can make use of it.
Within AI Builder, we find two categories of models:
- Pre-built models are those that we only need to connect to our applications or Power Automate flows and make use of them. They do not require any configuration or parameterization.
- Custom models are those that need input from our business to be trained, although they do not require any data scientist knowledge either.
AI Builder models are available for use in Power Automate Cloud flows and, in some cases, in Power Apps applications.
To include the AI Builder control in a Canvas app, we can use the AI Builder button in the command bar:
