Finishing the rear end of the hull

We are now going to work on the rear of the tank. In the next few steps, we will add some objects and details to the rear, which will give us a finished hull:

  1. Add some more details around the exhaust grills, such as the ones we already learned to create on other parts of the tank.

  1. At the bottom of the rear, create a long cube with two loop cuts.

  1. Scale the two outer-face loops to make them wider than the middle. You can also expand them with Alt + S.

  1. Bevel some of the edges to create a shape like the one shown in Figure 8.61.
