Creating LED lights in Substance Painter
It’s quite tricky to create some materials inside Adobe Substance 3D Painter, such as glass materials, transparent materials, and LED lights, and there are some tricks and shortcuts to create such materials.
So, let’s learn how to create LED lights inside Painter:
- The LED lights on the TV are located in the TV_Parts Texture Set; therefore, select TV_Parts from the TEXTURE SET LIST:

- Make sure that the first layer is selected in the LAYERS panel on the right-hand side so that any time you create a new layer, it will be on top of every other layer. Then, select the Add fill layer from the LAYERS panel and scroll down to Base color in the PROPERTIES - FILL panel; once you see Base color, click on it and add the following values:
