In this chapter, we have learned about layers, how to apply materials on 3D models and 3D meshes, how to use an ID map to apply materials, and how to create transparent and dirt materials and dirt effects.
In the next chapter, we will go through masks in detail and learn the usage, purpose, and importance of complex masks, as well as the importance of Planar and Tri-planar masks, while working on practical parts in Adobe Substance 3D Painter.
