Summary

In this chapter, we’ve discussed the enormous value and benefits that having a task tracking or ticketing system can bring when integrated into your DevOps workflow – both at a technical level through Git integration and in terms of giving visibility and organization of your work.

We looked at some of the common choices of tools that provide the capabilities needed to manage your tasks in a DevOps pipeline, as well as a high-level workflow for getting started with each system.
