Linking cards

Users will often want to see data related to the information they are viewing, whether it is a different cut of the same information or a completely different but related dataset. Domo enables this guided analytics journey using the Link Related Card feature.

Let's walk through linking a related cut of the same information to the Sales Attainment card; namely, a quarterly trend of the sales data:

1. Obviously, to link to a card, the card must exist, so let's create a Quarterly Sales Trend card.
2. From the Sales dashboard, click + on the Sales header, and select + Create new Card.
3. Click SELECT under Visualization, then click SELECT under Existing.
4. Select the Quota dataset, then click CHOOSE DATASET.
5. Change the title to Quarterly Sales Trend.
6. In the CHART TYPES panel, select Vertical bar and click Nested bar.
7. In the DATA panel, drag and drop FiscalYear to the X AXIS area.
