Compliance management

Much of what's in compliance management has been moved to, or is closely related to, items that are in the Security & Compliance admin center, so much of this will be covered in more detail in a later chapter (Chapter 8, Understanding Security and Compliance). Given that, we won't go into a tremendous amount of detail here.

In-place eDiscovery and Hold

The in-place eDiscovery and Hold feature is scheduled to be moved entirely to Content search in Security & Compliance later in 2018 or early 2019, and the same functionality is available there now, so we won't cover this one.

While auditing can also be done in the Security & Compliance admin center, it's done differently in Exchange, and the dissimilarities are enough to make it worth addressing here:
