Recipients
Recipients is the most important part of Exchange, and you will probably spend much of your time in exchange online working with the functions here. However, these areas also have a great deal of overlap with the Administration Portal (covered in Chapter 1, The Office 365 Administration Portal), as Microsoft have made it simpler to administer the functions of Recipients from the main portal that most administrators will access.
Mailboxes
Mailboxes are the heart of Exchange, the main purpose behind the whole thing. In a moderately large company with a normal amount of turnover, you'll probably spend more time administering mailboxes than any other part of Exchange, unless there are legal reasons why you need to spend a great deal of time on compliance and regulatory features.
