In this chapter, we uncovered another concept of the OpenStack ecosystem—big data as a service. We explored most of Sahara's features that reduces all the administrators and routine tasks to deploy and provision big data clusters. This chapter has demonstrated the wide range of Sahara plugins that support the integration of many big data vendors and embrace the running of more workload types. You may have noted how simple it is to run a job in Sahara, avoiding the complexity that is usually involved in the traditional approach. This shows another success of the basic OpenStack architecture design, enabling us to orchestrate several components to expose an analytic stack to operators and users in no time.
