Summary

In this chapter, we discussed the Select Tool and the Eraser Tool. These tools are used in every SketchUp project! We also reviewed Snaps and Inferences. I hope you have begun to play with these Tools and Inferences – it will be great to get a handle on these elements before you begin to model!

At this point, you are probably excited to begin modeling, but before we get to that, we want to look at Groups and Components and how they must be used to create professional SketchUp models in SketchUp Pro.

In the next chapter, we will examine Groups and Components in SketchUp and introduce the concept of Sticky Geometry.
