How to conduct user interviews


Interviews help us gain a deeper understanding of our users, so I will present detailed steps to help you get the most out of user interviews.

However, before proceeding with individual interview steps, I would like to mention three distinct roles on every design-thinking team:

  • The Facilitator: This is a person or thing that makes an action or process easier. In one word, a facilitator is a leader. They will provide all the materials, outline the project, and provide an objective. They will create the session plan and schedule. The facilitator enters after the UX process is finished and the interviews are done. Then, they lead the team with a new mind and then during the way he must not get upset or angry with the process. A good facilitator has to adapt easily, even when there are a lot of challenges.
  • The Interviewer: Each team needs a primary interviewer who schedules user interviews and breaks the interview down to stakeholders and users identified by stakeholders...
