Conventions used
There are a number of text conventions used throughout this book.
Code in text
: Indicates code words in text, database table names, folder names, filenames, file extensions, pathnames, dummy URLs, user input, and Twitter handles. Here is an example: “Be sure to have your tagged character open in Character Animator. Or you can access Chat_with_Chaz.chproj
. Also, we will do a little work in Photoshop. The modified file from that task will be labeled Chaz_Host_v3.psd
. Let’s get going!”
Bold: Indicates a new term, an important word, or words that you see on screen. For instance, words in menus or dialog boxes appear in bold. Here is an example: “Load Version 2 from the History panel if you wish to work with the book’s example.”
