Snow layer

In this part of the exercise, we will replicate the process from the previous section by selecting the nodes we worked with and duplicating them again. This time, the duplication will be utilized specifically for conditions set to affect the Snow layer material surface on the Landscape. Let’s get started:

  1. Select the nodes that were used in the previous exercise, duplicate them using Ctrl + D, and place them below the original set. In this step, we will employ the Outside Filter output to differentiate the placement of content being spawned within the same area, but it will operate in a contrasting manner.

  1. Add another Attribute Filter node to the mix and let’s change the condition to work only with the Snow layer surface of the landscape! Figure 6.56 shows the configuration to use for this particular example:
